Need

Changing Lives Ministries is a Non-Profit organization created to address the problem of orphaned, abandoned and neglected children within our local communities.

The plight of South African’s children has been well-documented and heralded in headlines around the world. Through hard work and with a vision of hope, concerned community members have banded together with Milly Jarvis to create The Village of Joy a home providing care and nurturing for children in need who are placed in our care.

Who We Are?

We are a fairly small organization providing food, shelter, physical and emotional care to kids who have been abandoned, severely abused, neglected and orphaned. Nearly all of our children are Differently-Abled, ranging from physical challenges to severe learning disabilities. Board Members, Milly Jarvis and our care team work hard to create a safe and nurturing family like environment where these children can have their physical needs cared for, psychological needs addressed and experience healing. It is critical to understand that CLM is ALL about the children!

Success for us is measured in our children reaching adulthood prepared and equipped to take on Life. We want to provide them with a safe, happy and healthy childhood alongside with a quality education that will give them the best platform to grow and succeed in the future.

We are passionate about our family. For any decision or action taken at CLM the single most important question to be asked is whether or not this decision or action is in the best long term interests of the children.
